Our childbirth preparation class covers a variety of topics to help you prepare for the birth of your baby. You’ll learn what to expect during the various stages of labor, breathing and relaxation techniques, your options for pain management and how your coach can help you through labor. A tour of the birthing center is included. This class is offered as a series, one night a week over a four-week period and includes three prenatal classes and one infant care class. Light refreshments will be served.

Our Caesarean section (C-section) preparation class is offered to women who are scheduled for a C-section or if a physician has indicated that there may be an indication for a C-section. The class will answer your and your partner's questions and make you more comfortable with the surgery by discussing the procedure, anesthesia, delivery and recovery. Light refreshments will be served.

For growing families, the birth of a new baby is very exciting, but it can also cause some anxiety for big brothers and big sisters. Our sibling class is for children between the ages of four and ten. This class includes hands-on baby doll experience and is designed to be a fun way for the older child to learn the rules of infant safety and the importance of becoming a big brother or big sister. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Light refreshments will be served.

This one is just for the dads -- no women allowed! Daddy Boot Camp is a chance for new dads to share their experiences with dads-to-be. This special class uses "man talk" to discuss what to expect during the birth experience, how to be a great coach and partner and what life will be like after your baby is born.
